According to Wendy
According to Wendy is a local New York City rock band that was in need of a cool new look to compliment their cool new sound. Over the past couple of years since the band was formed, their music style advanced to a new level. So, we built a site that not only is graphically advanced, but also has features to enhance the site viewers' experience, complete with a streaming mp3 "jukebox" playing the band's all original music.
Talon Industries & American Danatron
Talon Industries is a major ink manufacturer and distributor. With an impressive client list consisting of prominent, large companies, it was important to deliver a web site that was very clean with a "corporate" feel. Simple navigation and a no-fuss design puts the Talon web site on the top in their industry, just like the company itself.
A "sister" company to Talon Industries, American Danatron's web site was designed to go hand in hand with Talon. The reason behind this was to keep the branding as similar as possible, while retaining it's own personality, so that long term clients of Talon would easily see that the two companies are now related.
Asia Werner
Asia Werner is a makeup artist with a client list spanning the country, from New York City to Las Vegas. With a rapidly expanding business, she needed a web site built to portray her work, as well as give the opportunity for prospective clients to contact her. The fresh, "clean" design is a perfect fit for Asia's line of work, and the straightforward approach allows the viewer to quickly find what they need.
Jack Studios
As one of New York City's top studio spaces, Jack Studios needed a fresh new site design to portray their many services available. With many photos showing off their studios, the web site needed to make them truly stand out. Instead of the traditional "pop-up" windows for viewing photos, we implemented a design that would keep the user on the desired page while flipping through the pictures. A solid black background makes this site a real eye-catcher!
Chris DaSilva
This is the personal web site of Chris DaSilva, G Funk Design's head designer and the guitarist and singer in the band According to Wendy. He needed a site that would not only tell viewers who he is and what he does, but also directs them to other sites of interest. A proud resident of New York City, Chris decided to show that love with a "mural" of the city as the main graphic on the site.
